Qualifications

• Enrolled in or aspiring to complete SAIPA/SAICA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits for various clients.
• Perform audit tests of balances, transactions, and internal control systems.
• Gather and document audit evidence, ensuring it is sufficient and appropriate.
• Identify potential control weaknesses or misstatements and report findings to senior team members.
• Participate in client meetings and build professional relationships.
• Contribute to the team's effort to ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
