Job summary

ScalableOS in South Africa seeks a detail-oriented Enterprise Service Desk Analyst to provide frontline support for Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, Azure, and related networking functions. You will troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and maintain secure, stable systems for end users in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes clear client communication, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with engineers on complex issues, upgrades, and security initiatives such as MFA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of IT experience (2 years acceptable with strong certifications).
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Microsoft certifications MS-900, AZ-900, AZ-104 required.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Prior MSP or enterprise environment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level support for Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Azure.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, accounts, and permissions.
• Monitor systems, perform patching, and apply preventative maintenance.
• Document incidents, requests, resolutions, and technical processes accurately.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or specialized teams as needed.
• Assist in security initiatives including MFA and endpoint protection.
• Maintain professional, client-facing communication to ensure positive end-user experiences.
• Contribute to projects, migrations, and system improvements as required.
