Job summary

Mediclinic International invites applications for an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Paediatrics at our Mbombela (Nelspruit) campus. The role delivers safe, basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, focusing on paediatric patients and patient safety.

The successful candidate will hold a Higher Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent) with CPD exposure preferred, and will participate in maintaining accurate nursing records and stock control in a permanent, on-site posting.

Qualifications

• Essential education: Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent).
• Desirable CPD courses for specific specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a therapeuticenvironment
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
