Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene of patients, provide nutrition and assist with mobility and elimination. Provide elementary nursing care.
• Measure, interpret, and record vital signs; operate relevant apparatus and equipment.
• Assist professional nurses with clinical procedures and preparation of patients for diagnostics and procedures.
• Maintain records and participate in in-service training; promote patient safety and Batho Pele principles.
