Job summary

Nurture Health in Cape Town is seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, you will support the Registered Nurse in delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring patient progress, and helping patients actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.

You will work with a diverse team to ensure safe, ethical practice and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Experience caring for medically complex patients in the private sector.
• Strong communication, teamwork and ability to adapt to structured routines.

• Monitor patients' clinical status and report changes to support clinical decisions.

You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily nursing duties and allocated patient care activities in accordance with Nurture Health's nursing policies, processes, and systems.
• Monitor patients' clinical status, recognise and report changes, and contribute information that supports interdisciplinary clinical decision-making.
• Deliver hands-on nursing care, including skin and wound care, continence care, medication administration within scope, basic life support, and compliance with care bundles.

Requirements

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse, with proven experience caring for medically complex patients within the private healthcare sector.
• Strong clinical observation, communication, organisational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition and work within structured routines.
• Passionate about rehabilitation and patient wellbeing, committed to ethical nursing practice, accountability, professionalism, continuous learning, and collaboration.
