Job summary

NDC Personnel seeks an seasoned engineering leader to manage maintenance, utilities, CAPEX projects and safety systems in a food processing environment. You will apply mechanical engineering expertise, drive continuous improvement, oversee boiler operations and water reticulation, and manage capital projects to support operations and compliance.

Candidates should hold a BEng and be in the process of obtaining GCC (Factories), with 2–3 years leading a large team of qualified artisans.

Qualifications

• BEng degree required; GCC (Factories) in progress or completed.
• 2–3 years of experience managing a large team of artisans.
• Experience in FMCG or agri-food processing is advantageous.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing engineering services across maintenance, utilities, CAPEX projects, and safety systems in a food processing environment. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, continuous improvement, boiler operations, water reticulation, and managing capital projects will be essential in ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and long-term infrastructure planning. You will also handle budgets and costing management.

To be considered, candidates should hold a BEng degree and be in the process of obtaining their GCC (Factories) qualification (currently registered or have already written their first examination). This role requires 2-3 years’ experience in managing a large team of qualified and experienced Artisans. Exposure to an FMCG or agri food production or processing environment will be highly advantageous.
