Job summary

Vkb Group invites applications for an Engineering Graduate position designed to develop core skills through on-the-job training and supportive tasks within the maintenance planning function.

You will assist with admin duties, open/close job cards, scan documents, prepare reports, and help ensure downtime data is captured in the CMMS, with potential rotation across departments and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Must be a TVET College Engineering Graduate.
• Engineering Diploma/ N4–N6 Certificate Mechanical Engineering.
• Computer Literate in MS Office package is essential.
• Must be joining an Internship/ Graduate Program for the first time.
• May be rotated between different departments as part of the training.
• A willingness to work overtime including weekends, when required.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing of job cards
• Scanning documents onto File Director
• General filing of documents within required deadline
• Compiling Reports and taking minutes
• Daily checking to ensure that all engineering downtime reported on production sheets are fully captured on the CMMS
• Review the planning department’s weekly performance as required
• Ensure daily compliance to work planning and control procedure
