Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking an FI Consultant with embedded reporting experience in Johannesburg. The role focuses on real-time operational reporting within SAP S/4HANA and delivering software solutions across the delivery pipeline.

The ideal candidate will translate business needs into technical specifications, develop code, and provide robust support and maintenance while adhering to software QA standards and continuous delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor-level degree in Information Studies or Information Technology.
• 5–7 years of experience preferred in software engineering and reporting.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and developing code.
• Experience with embedded and real-time reporting in SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug and maintain programs in CD pipelines.
• Provide support and maintenance of systems per QA and software quality standards.
• Produce software specifications aligned with technical requirements.
• Deliver real-time operational reporting within SAP S/4HANA.
