Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is hiring an Engineer Prof Electrical for the Hendrina Power Station. You will help sustain and enhance the performance of allocated plant, manage modifications, and lead engineering projects in the Electrical Engineering department.

The role requires a BSc/BEng in Engineering (NQF8, 480 credits) and completion of a graduate training or two years of engineering experience. ECSA candidate status is desired, with emphasis on adherence to Eskom processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering degree (BSc or BEng) at NQF8 with 480 credits.
• Two years of engineering experience or completion of a graduate training programme.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a candidate engineer.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve problematic plant issues.
• Manage plant modifications and engineering projects.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to plant teams.
• Support reliability and performance improvement for allocated plant.
