Job summary

Construct Executive Search in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, seeks a Civil Engineer with 4–7 years in tailings engineering to join our team.

The ideal candidate will hold a BEng or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering, be proficient in soil mechanics, CPTu testing, slope stability, seepage analysis, and be familiar with Geostudio, AutoCAD Civil 3D or ModelMaker, plus MS Office. A valid driver's license and passport are required, and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering.
• 4–7 years of tailings engineering experience.
• ECSA professional registration would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of soil mechanics.
• Experience in CPTu testing & interpretation, slope stability, seepage analysis, and FEM software like Geostudio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or ModelMaker.
• Geotechnical engineering experience is a plus.
• MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Fluency in English is required.
