Job Purpose

To ensure the availability, security, performance, and reliability of the organisation's network infrastructure by managing, maintaining, and supporting network devices, connectivity services, and security solutions. The role is responsible for protecting network resources, enabling secure business operations, resolving network-related issues, and implementing network changes in accordance with organisational standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• To support the provision of a stable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructure that supports business operations and minimizes downtime through
• a. problem solving and troubleshooting services
• b. by applying patches,
• To safeguard company systems, data, and network resources through the effective administration of firewalls, security controls, and access management practices.
• To protect the company against threats and ensure secure and effective connectivity for all employees, sites, and business systems can be through the management of routing, switching, VPNs, and network services.
• To support continuous business operations and optimal user experience by proactively monitoring, identifying, and resolving network issues, ensuring consistent service user experience across the organisation.
• Support Business Continuity and disaster recovery by ensuring accurate network documentation, configuration backups, and recovery procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

• Network administrator with experience with Fortinet 3-5 years Essential switches & FortiGate firewall admin
• Cisco switching and routing experience 3-5 years Essential
• Network design experience 2-3 years Essential

Education

• Cisco Certified Network Administrator Certification Essential
• Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP Network Security certification (Level 4 min) Essential
• Valid driver's license Code E1 or equivalent Essential
