Key Responsibilities

• Process and confirm daily energy trades across multiple commodity markets (e.g., power, gas, oil).
• Manage the settlement process, ensuring timely and accurate payment and delivery of commodities.
• Reconcile trade positions and financial statements with counterparties and internal accounting.
• Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or settlement issues that arise.
• Ensure adherence to trading policies, risk management procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with front office traders, risk management, finance, and external counterparties.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations, settlements, or back-office functions, preferably in the energy or financial markets.
• Strong understanding of energy trading processes and commodity markets.
