About the Role

Our client is seeking an insightful and experienced Energy Policy Advisor to contribute to their strategic initiatives, working from a hybrid model based in or near Paarl . This role involves analyzing current and proposed energy policies, regulations, and market structures, providing expert advice to inform the company's strategic planning and investment decisions. You will research and interpret the implications of governmental policies on the energy sector, particularly in relation to renewable energy and sustainability goals within South Africa . The position requires a deep understanding of energy economics, policy frameworks, and excellent communication skills to articulate complex policy issues to diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on national and international energy policies , regulations, and market reforms.
