Qualifications

• LLB degree or equivalent.
• Admission as an attorney in good standing.
• Interest and understanding of energy law.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with hybrid work and legal tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, permitting, and licensing in energy.
• Draft and negotiate energy project agreements (PPAs, EPCs).
• Conduct legal research on energy regulations and policies.
• Participate in due diligence for energy transactions.
• Represent clients before regulatory bodies and in disputes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and client management.
• Prepare memoranda, opinions, and client-facing documents.
• Stay updated on national and international energy developments.
