Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a specialized Endpoint Security Engineer in East London to safeguard devices and user endpoints. You will deploy, configure, and manage antivirus, EDR, HIPS, and DLP while monitoring alerts and responding to incidents to prevent malware and ransomware.

The role requires hands-on experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Defender for Endpoint, and a solid grasp of Windows, macOS, and Linux security. A Bachelor’s degree in IT/cybersecurity is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience managing and supporting endpoint security technologies.
• Hands-on experience with leading EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint).
• Strong understanding of OS security (Windows, macOS, Linux) and network security concepts.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automating endpoint tasks is a plus.

About the Role

You will be responsible for protecting against malware, ransomware, and other threats targeting end-user devices, as well as responding to endpoint-related security incidents. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude for endpoint security technologies and a proactive approach to threat prevention and mitigation, ensuring robust protection across the organization's endpoints.
