Job summary

Career Crew (PTY) Ltd is seeking a Bulk Gases Supply Chain Manager based in Vanderbijlpark to lead the end-to-end supply chain, logistics strategy, and operations. You will manage the national fleet and ensure on-time, in-full delivery while overseeing distribution and workshop activities.

The role requires extensive experience in industrial gases/chemicals, strong leadership, and expertise in AI-driven demand forecasting, route optimisation, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• BSc/BTech in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry with a Logistics/Supply Chain qualification.
• Alternatively, a Supply Chain/Logistics qualification with extensive industrial gases experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end bulk gases supply chain, logistics strategy, and operations to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Manage the national fleet and ensure on-time, in-full product delivery.
• Oversee distribution and workshop operations, control costs, and improve processes.
• Analyse supply chain data using AI tools to improve forecasting and decision-making.
• Manage intercompany supply and maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
