Job summary

Sasol is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead operations in Vereeniging. You will optimize the entire supply chain from procurement to final delivery, develop efficient logistics strategies, and manage supplier relationships to drive cost savings and performance improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of global supply chain dynamics to enhance operational efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Strong understanding of inventory, transportation, and warehousing.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners and negotiate contracts.
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective controls to minimize stockouts and excess stock.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies across the supply chain.
