Qualifications

Job Description

The Employment Equity Consultant ensures that clients’ Employment Equity requirements are met. This role guides clients in compliance with Employment Equity legislation, oversees the submission of crucial reports, and helps clients progress toward achieving their Employment Equity Plan. The role also formulates EE‑related strategies, implements policies, and provides day‑to‑day compliance support while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Client Retention: Maintain professional relationships with clients to secure 100% retention; manage own diary and consulting schedule; facilitate reciprocal business practices with Labournet staff.
• Personal Development: Keep competency and knowledge current on system functionality, legislative changes, and professional development opportunities; attend developmental activities and demonstrate understanding.
• Employment Equity Compliance: Plan, implement, and record all EE compliance activities; identify and resolve compliance barriers; ensure consultative processes are executed; conduct analyses to set numerical and non‑numerical goals; develop and implement EE plans; submit EEA2 and EEA4 reports; educate management and staff on EE purpose; aid in identifying designated individuals for succession and experience planning.
• Project Planning and Adherence: Generate visitation and delivery schedules; adhere to service delivery timelines; manage appointment planning, attendance, and closures; upload all client documents to the document management system.
• Client Experience: Deliver services that maintain client satisfaction; provide professional communications and service excellence; secure referrals and introductions from satisfied clients.

Package & Remuneration

Salary: R17 850 CTC per month

Qualifications

• National diploma, BA, BCom Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, Financial Management, or related field.
• Experience in the service industry (delivery of services to other businesses or business units) is advantageous.
• Experience with EEA2/EEA4 submissions is advantageous.
• Experience with policy drafting and implementation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
