Placements24 is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist in Vereeniging to craft and execute strategy, ensuring information flows clearly across the organization. You will develop content for newsletters, intranet, emails and town halls while collaborating with HR and leadership.

The role requires strong writing, engagement know-how, and the ability to manage multiple communications projects in an on-site team environment in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in internal communications or a related role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex information.
• Proficiency in content management systems and internal communication platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience working in a corporate setting and understanding of employee engagement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies to support organizational goals and employee engagement.
• Create and manage content for newsletters, intranet, emails, and town hall meetings.
• Ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication of company news, updates, and policy changes.
• Support change management initiatives by crafting clear and persuasive communication plans.
