Placements24 is seeking a Corporate Communications Officer to drive internal and external communications for the Mahikeng-based team in the North West province. The role focuses on aligning messaging with company values and engaging employees and external stakeholders.

You will craft internal newsletters, draft press content, manage social media, and help coordinate events. A proactive communicator is essential to support brand consistency and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in corporate communications or a similar role.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with digital and print channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of corporate communication plans and initiatives.
• Draft and edit internal communications, such as newsletters, memos, and intranet content.
• Support external communications efforts, including press releases and social media content.
• Help manage company events and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor communication channels for feedback and respond appropriately.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials and platforms.
