Job summary

Netcare East London is seeking qualified Emergency Care professionals to join our 911 operations. You will ensure prompt patient care, complete essential documentation, and uphold Netcare’s standards of safety and quality across all shifts.

Required credentials include HPCSA registration as BAA, PDRP, and a Code 10 license. A minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience is advantageous; a strong commitment to care and patient confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration with Professional Board of Emergency Care as BAA is required.
• A valid PDRP for passengers.
• A valid Code 10 driver’s license.
• 1 year post-graduate patient care experience in an operational environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Consistency of Care and complete administrative duties per SOP.
• Ensure hospital records and E-Patient forms are completed.
• Quality improvement and data reporting, CSI compliance.
• Manage vehicle/equipment checks and stock control.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and HPCSA protocols.
• Provide patient care and hand over to hospital staff per protocol.
