Job summary

Netcare 911 Uitenhage is seeking an Emergency Care Assistant (AEA) to join our team. The role requires HPCSA registration as an AEA, a valid PDRP for passengers, and a Code 10 Driver’s License.

You will support critical care on-site, complete documentation, and maintain vehicle readiness while adhering to Netcare policies and safety standards. Applicants should be 21+ with post-graduate patient care exposure; computer skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HPCSA: Professional Board of Emergency Care Personnel as an AEA.
• A valid PDRP for passengers.
• A valid Code 10 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation essential to duty and hand copies to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure hospital records are completed in accordance with internal requirements for casualty/emergency patients.
• Log calls with the Netcare 911 Call Centre and obtain a Case Number for every incident.
• Attend CME training to maintain CPD compliance.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in good condition and ensure stock control after each call.
• Adhere to Netcare policies and safety regulations on duty.
