Job summary

Netcare invites you to be part of our journey as an AEA on-site professional at East London. You will support casualty/emergency services, maintain accurate records, and adhere to HPCSA protocols while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires current HPCSA registration as an AEA, a valid PDRP for passengers, and a Code 10 Driver’s License, with 2+ years post-graduate patient care experience being beneficial. Proactive safety and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as an AEA is required.
• A valid PDRP for passengers is required.
• A valid Code 10 Driver’s License is required.
• 2+ years of post-graduate patient care experience is beneficial.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation for duty completion and hand copies to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure hospital records are completed per internal requirements for patients delivered via casualty/emergency unit.
• Complete E-Patient Report Forms for every patient treated.
• Document overtime and leave as required; perform other duties as requested by Operations Manager.
• Respond to emergencies and administer Intermediate Life Support per HPCSA protocols; call for backup when needed.
• Maintain station cleanliness and stock control; attend CME training to maintain CPD compliance.
• Adhere to Netcare policies and procedures and report any safety or compliance issues.
