Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Client Finance Coordinator to join the South Africa finance team and support selected EMEA client finance administration. This hands-on role focuses on accurate, timely finance administration across markets, tracking billing, Workday requests and routine reports.

The ideal candidate is structured, detail-focused and comfortable coordinating with stakeholders across time zones, ensuring documentation quality and process consistency.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent experience in finance or related field.
• Strong written and spoken English for international collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and structured data handling.
• Excellent organization and ability to meet recurring deadlines.
• Familiarity with finance systems and documented processes.
• Clear communication and stakeholder follow-up across markets.
• Judgement to escalate when needed and handle confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain administrative trackers and ensure complete packs reach the correct owner.
• Prepare billing administration packs with inputs, templates and backup.
• Distribute AR/AP or working capital reports and maintain follow-up trackers.
• Run standard finance system reports and populate pre-agreed templates.
• Retrieve, file and audit invoices, POs and approvals with proper documentation.
• Maintain SOPs, handover notes and escalation routes for clients.
