Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a commercially driven Signature Relationship Manager to grow and deepen a portfolio of high-value and ultra-high-net-worth clients within Private Banking.

You will serve as the primary relationship owner for Signature clients, delivering personalised, high-touch banking across lending, investments, advisory and broader financial solutions while ensuring compliance with FAIS and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or FAIS aligned NQF7+ in a relevant field.
• Must meet FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
• 5–7 years’ experience in relationship/private banking or affluent portfolios.
• Proven ability to grow high-value client relationships and deliver financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and retain trusted relationships with high-value and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Analyse client objectives to tailor lending, investments, and advisory solutions.
• Drive portfolio growth by acquiring new Signature clients and expanding wallet share.
• Structure complex credit applications with due diligence and risk controls.
• Ensure all client interactions comply with FAIS and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver end-to-end client value.
