Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Production Worker in Centurion, Gauteng. The role involves assembling, wiring, testing and packaging electronic equipment, building test units, and performing soldering with hand tools while adhering to production instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Suitable for school leavers or entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous manufacturing, electronic or technical experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly, wiring, testing and packaging of electronic equipment and devices.
• Support the building of test units and prototypes.
• Perform production tasks including soldering, using hand tools and following production instructions.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing, identify defects and report findings.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Provide general production support to managers, engineers and technicians, including housekeeping activities.
• Follow all safety procedures, use appropriate PPE and report hazards, incidents and near misses.
• Maintain a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work area in line with company HSE requirements.
• Participate in training, personal development and knowledge-sharing activities to continuously improve skills and production practices.
