Job summary

Epiroc in Centurion, ZA is seeking a Production Worker to support assembly, testing and packaging of electronic equipment and devices. You will follow production schedules, perform soldering, operate production machinery and assist with quality checks to ensure timely delivery of safe, reliable products.

We value eager learners with a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Suitable for school leavers or entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous manufacturing, electronic or technical experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly, wiring, testing and packaging of electronic equipment and devices.
• Support the building of test units and prototypes.
• Perform production tasks including soldering, using hand tools and following production instructions.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing, identify defects and report findings.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Provide general production support to managers, engineers and technicians, including housekeeping activities.
• Follow all safety procedures, use appropriate PPE and report hazards, incidents and near misses.
• Maintain a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work area in line with company HSE requirements.
• Participate in training, personal development and knowledge-sharing activities to continuously improve skills and production practices.
