Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks an experienced Production Planner for a dynamic electronics manufacturing environment in Paarl. The role focuses on developing master production schedules, aligning with demand forecasts and capacity, while coordinating with procurement to resolve shortages.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in production planning, strong ERP/SAP experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills to drive efficiency and meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of production planning experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong experience in production scheduling, capacity planning and inventory management.
• Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP or similar planning platforms.
• Experience reviewing MRP outputs and managing material requirements planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data.
• Financial acumen with experience monitoring costs and supporting budget adherence.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules aligned with demand, inventory levels and capacity.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to resolve shortages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
• Track production performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Provide accurate reporting on production status, risks and delivery commitments to management.
