Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualifications as listed: T3/N6/S4 or a Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electronic manufacturing or production test environments.
• Practical RF measurement experience is required.
• Experience with component-level fault finding and repair in a military electronic environment.
• Experience with analogue and digital electronics and associated test equipment.
• Experience with computer-based testing and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is advantageous.
• IPC certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute electronic product testing using approved test documentation and equipment to verify functionality and conformance.
• Perform systematic diagnostics and fault finding at component, subsystem and system level to identify defects and root causes.
• Perform component-level repairs, soldering, rework and restoration to restore units to specification.
• Verify product workmanship and compliance through prescribed tests to ensure quality and standards.
• Maintain accurate test records, job cards, fault and FRACAS reports for traceability and delivery targets.
