Job summary
WOW Softech in Guinea, West Africa, seeks an experienced Electromechanical / Automation Technician to work on industrial automation and manufacturing projects. You will troubleshoot, maintain and service electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and automation systems.
The role requires strong English communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Experience with heights and confined spaces after training is expected.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Electrical / Electromechanical / Industrial Automation.
- 4–5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Experience in automation or manufacturing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces after required training.
Responsibilities
- Handle electrical & electromechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment faults.
- Read and interpret electrical & hydraulic schematics.
- Understand and work with mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshoot industrial automation and control systems.
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance.
- Identify root causes and resolve equipment breakdowns.
- Support installation, commissioning and servicing of machinery.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.
