Job summary

Henwil Chickens is seeking a qualified Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and maintain electrical systems across production lines. You will ensure compliance with standards, troubleshoot faults, and support maintenance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Red Seal Trade Qualification, have 3-5 years of industrial experience, and possess strong PLC and problem-solving skills. ECSA registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Red Seal trade qualification in mechanical/electro-mechanical fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC systems and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment and lines.
• Monitor and improve energy efficiency and electrical performance.
• Maintain electrical documentation and schematics.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe electrical practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and production.
