You will work with journeyman electricians, develop wiring skills, and prepare for a qualified electrician certification, with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Strong interest in electrical work and technology.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and coursework.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and fixtures.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Help run conduit and pull electrical wires.
• Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Ensure installations comply with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
