Job description

We are seeking a skilled Wireman to join a production and assembly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical racks and panels to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and wiring schedules. This role involves hands‑on electrical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out point‑to‑point wiring of electrical panels, racks, and assemblies.

• Perform cable crimping, cutting, stripping, terminating, and looming.

• Wire and install relays, isolators, contactors, and associated components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Mark out, drill, and prepare panels and enclosures prior to assembly.

• Ensure wiring is completed to internal standards, customer specifications, and industry best practice.

• Conduct basic continuity and insulation checks where required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to meet production deadlines.
