Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Electrical Systems Integration Engineer for a major Upington project. You will ensure seamless integration of electrical subsystems, analyze requirements, define interfaces, oversee procurement, and drive testing and commissioning to meet performance specs.

The role requires a strong electrical engineering background, system architecture experience, and excellent collaboration with designers, vendors, and project teams on-site in Upington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical systems integration or related roles.
• Experience in system architecture design and interface management.
• Strong knowledge of power and control systems; instrumentation is a plus.
• Familiar with testing methodologies and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive system integration plans for electrical projects.
• Analyze requirements and define interfaces between subsystems.
• Oversee procurement of components and systems for integration.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for compatibility.
• Develop and implement system testing protocols and commissioning.
• Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution across project phases.
• Prepare technical docs including diagrams, test reports, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and specs.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
