Job summary

Tailormade Solution is seeking a General Worker with practical exposure to Electrical or Refrigeration work to join our Durban-based team.

You will assist electricians or refrigeration technicians with daily tasks, handle tools and equipment, assist with installations, maintenance and repairs, keep work areas clean, load and unload materials, and strictly follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 completed.
• Previous experience as a General Worker.
• Electrical or Refrigeration experience is essential.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or refrigeration tools and equipment.
• Ability to assist with installations, maintenance and repairs and general technical duties.
• Physically fit for manual work.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians or refrigeration technicians with daily tasks.
• Handle and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping of work areas.
• Load, unload and move equipment and materials.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Perform other general duties as assigned by the supervisor.
