Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Centurion operations. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems to ensure reliable, safe facility performance.

You will read schematics, follow safety standards, and perform routine maintenance on motors, panels, and lighting. Willingness to rotate shifts and respond to on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components according to codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, identifying root causes of malfunctions.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair and installation work.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
