Job summary

Sasol is a global integrated chemicals and energy company, seeking an electrical maintenance professional to support with maintaining electrical systems and collecting field data for optimum productivity. The role requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work from planned schedules in Secunda, Mpumalanga.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 with Maths, English & Physical Science.
• CHIETA NQF Level 2 Certificate (Electrical).
• Experience: 1-2+ relevant years.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain safety in a working environment.
• Participate in root cause analyses and provide feedback to RCA teams.
• Carry out work according to planning and schedules.
• Attend daily morning meetings to discuss work assignments.
• Provide adequate progress updates to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety standards and waste disposal procedures.
• Identify faults with applicable methods to ensure equipment availability.
• Attend training courses to improve competency and skills.
• Identify personal development needs and update PDP with supervisor approval.
• Support business goals by meeting deadlines.
• Perform plant inspections and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide feedback to customers on work progress.
• Conduct IMS inspections to improve plant sustainability.
• Record history feedback to improve renewals and upgrades.
• Join toolbox talks and PDAs/RCAs to enhance plant safety and stability.
• Spot continuous improvement opportunities in own area.
