Job summary

Ingrain in South Africa's Gauteng region is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation specialist to support and lead projects, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will assist with implementation, supervision, and commissioning, provide technical support to operations, troubleshoot challenges, and contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement across electrical distribution, instrumentation, motors, drives, PLCs, and plant automation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation, supervision, and commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation projects.
• Provide technical support to operations and the Electrical & Instrumentation Department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation challenges.
• Support feasibility studies and conceptual designs.
• Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to risk assessments and technical standards compliance.
• Provide technical advice relating to electrical distribution, instrumentation systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and plant automation.
