West Coast Personnel stores function is seeking a reliable Stores Manager for an electrical infrastructure project in the Northern Suburbs, CPT. The role focuses on stock control, materials management and supervising stores personnel to ensure timely provisioning of project materials.

Responsibilities include stock receiving, inventory accuracy, and coordination with project managers and suppliers. A Grade 12, relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license are essential; forklift licence is

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Experience in stores, warehouse or inventory management.
Experience in electrical, construction, engineering or infrastructure sector advantageous.
Strong knowledge of stock-control, receiving and inventory-administration procedures.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and stock-management systems.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily stores operations: receiving, storing, issuing and dispatching stock.
Maintain stock records and inventory reports.
Control electrical materials, tools, equipment, consumables and project stock.
Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors and suppliers for materials.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages promptly.
Supervise stores personnel and ensure safety and housekeeping.
