Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to manage electrical infrastructure projects in the Randburg area. You will oversee timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years’ experience in project engineering or management, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or management on electrical infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP certification is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize projects within deadlines and budget.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors with effective coordination.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and client communication throughout the lifecycle.
