Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians and engineers in performing routine maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and components.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Operate electrical testing equipment safely and accurately.
• Assist in the preparation of work reports and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, particularly concerning electrical hazards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in classroom-based learning and site visits as part of the learnership curriculum.
• Follow all directives and guidance provided by supervisors and mentors.
