Key responsibilities include managing site electrical reticulation and automation, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, mentoring artisans and foremen, and providing training on automation systems. Own transport required.

Qualifications

• BSc Electrical Engineering, or a BTech or Diploma.
• ECSA registration as Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist (or working towards).
• Minimum of 5 years in an FMCG environment post-qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage site electrical reticulation and automation of the plant.
• Ensure installation and operations conform to electrical standards.
• Mentor artisans and foremen; provide technical training on automation systems.
• Provide technical support for new and existing automation projects at the site.
• Develop specifications for HMI/communication interfaces and networking.
