Job summary

• Design, develop and support electrical and electronic engineering projects within the renewable energy sector
• Provide technical input into solar PV, battery storage and power generation installations
• Assist with the design, testing, commissioning and optimisation of renewable energy systems
• Support utility-scale, commercial and industrial renewable energy projects
• Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting and performance analysis on solar and electrical systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, engineering calculations and specifications

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-7 years' of Electrical and Electronic Engineering experience
• Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, battery storage or power generation projects
• Knowledge of grid-connected and off-grid energy systems advantageous
• Understanding of electrical design principles, protection systems and industry standards
• Experience with system testing, commissioning and performance monitoring
• Familiarity with inverters, transformers, switchgear and balance-of-plant equipment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Project engineering experience within the renewable energy sector advantageous

Qualification

• BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
