Qualifications

• BSc / BEng / Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–6 years’ experience in electrical design within a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs for PV systems including single-line diagrams, wiring schematics and layouts.
• Design and size components such as inverters, transformers, combiner boxes and wiring.
• Perform load calculations, energy yield assessments and system performance simulations.
• Analyse shading, orientation and environmental factors affecting output.
• Conduct fault analysis, short circuit studies and protective device coordination.
