Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift operator license, have 2–3 years of forklift experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners, and a strong commitment to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Operator License.
• Clean Criminal Record.
• 2-3 years forklift driving experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move boxes, pallets and containers containing automotive parts.
• Load, unload and position materials in designated storage, production and dispatch areas.
• Transport materials between receiving, storage, production and dispatch areas as instructed.
• Check loads for stability and ensure materials are secure before moving.
• Conduct daily pre-use forklift inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Follow workplace traffic rules, speed limits and pedestrian-safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Prevent damage to stock, equipment and company property.
• Report damaged packaging, stock discrepancies and misplaced materials to the supervisor.
• Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all health and safety procedures.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and support the smooth running of daily operations.
