Placements24 is seeking a Senior Educational Technologist for a Centurion-based educational institution in Gauteng to lead the integration of digital tools into pedagogy, enhance student engagement, and support faculty effectiveness.

You will collaborate with faculty, IT, and curriculum developers to implement and sustain edtech solutions aligned with strategic goals, and lead pilot projects while staying current with trends in higher education.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years in an educational technology role, preferably in higher education.
Proven LMS experience and ability to train staff and faculty.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead strategies for integrating new educational technologies in line with institutional goals.
Provide expert consultation and training on LMS and digital content tools.
Design workshops and professional development for pedagogy-enhanced learning.
Evaluate new tools and coordinate IT collaboration for secure operation.
Lead pilot projects and assess impact and scalability.
