Placements24 is seeking an Educational Technology Specialist to support the integration and effective use of technology in Soweto classrooms. You will train educators on digital tools, troubleshoot issues, and help develop digital learning strategies in on-site sessions with remote support.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and teaching staff to ensure effective use of platforms, including LMS, and ongoing professional development within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Education or related field.
• At least 4 years in educational technology support or similar.
• Strong LMS and content creation tool knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and training to educators and students on various educational technologies and platforms.
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new educational software and hardware.
• Develop and deliver professional development workshops on digital literacy and technology integration in the classroom.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software, hardware, and network connectivity.
• Collaborate with IT departments and educational staff to ensure the effective and efficient use of technology in learning environments.
