Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong operational finance experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee full financial function including supervision of the bookkeeper and integrity of financial records
• Produce and present monthly management accounts with variance analysis and insights
• Lead budgeting processes across the schools and align to strategic priorities
• Oversee cash flow management and financial planning for sustainability
• Manage parent fee structures, collections, debt management and remission processes
• Engage with parents professionally and empathetically
• Ensure revenue collection strategies and financial risk mitigation
• Oversee donor administration including tracking, reporting and Section 18A Certificates
• Ensure SARS compliance and governance requirements
• Design and strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
• Support EdAdmin implementation with controls and reporting functionality
• Maintain audit readiness and liaise with auditors
• Partner with Dean and leadership on strategic financial decisions
