Placements24 is seeking an experienced ECD Coordinator in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, to lead curriculum and staff. This on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality early childhood education and a nurturing environment for young learners.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in ECD, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of child development theories, ensuring compliance and community engagement in a coastal setting.

Qualificações

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 5 or higher).
• Proven leadership and staff management experience in ECD settings.
• Strong knowledge of ECD best practices and curriculum frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the ECD center.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an ECD curriculum aligned with national standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate ECD practitioners and support staff.
• Manage enrollment, parent communications, and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Manage the center's budget and resources.
• Organize and lead parent workshops and community engagement.
