Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator & Learning Support Assistant in Rustenburg, North West. The role works with lead educators to support curriculum delivery, assist children with activities, and ensure wellbeing and safety in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging programs, providing individualized support, supervising meals and play, maintaining an organized classroom, and collaborating with parents.

Qualifications

• ECD qualification or related field preferred.
• Experience with young children in childcare or education support.
• Patient, caring, and responsible demeanor.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.
• Knowledge of basic first aid is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate educational activities.
• Provide individualized support to children needing help.
• Supervise playtime, meals, and rest periods for safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.
• Prepare learning materials as directed.
• Observe and record children's progress.
